Bancroft, J.C.

A good up to date and extensive text on migration without the mathematics.

Hatton L.,Worthington, M.H., & Makin, J.

A good book. Good examples and a good practical side. Poor on migration. Contains some VSP processing details and details on computer technology and tape formats - now a bit outdated.

McQuillin, R., Bacon, M., & Barclay, W.

A good introductory text, contains some theory and acquisition and processing basics. Several 2D interpretation case histories.

Sheriff,R.E. & Geldart, L.P.

Originally two volumes re-released and updated in 1995 as a single volume. This book contains a lot of good background information particularly on seismic acquisition field methods, history and mathematical theory. Still slightly dated

.

Sheriff, R.E.

This dictionary is a little long winded but comprehensive. I wish it was available electronically.

Yilmaz, O.

The processing bible. Very detailed with lots of good examples. Now slightly long winded and dated in a few places. Good on migration.
